picked this up while catching up on spinning girl and had to have it, even if it's used:
given the choice between these pairs, and no other alternative, which would you choose?
1. salt or pepper?
2. oreos or milk?
3. peanut butter or jelly?
4. going blind or going deaf?
5. out of toilet paper or out of soap?
6. shoes or socks?
7. saliva or tears?
8. telephone or computer?
9. ac or hot water?
10. electricity or vaccination?

i feel like the winter solstice should be the turning point of winter so that the coldest day is also the shortest and we get longer and warmer on either side of that marker. and since both are connected to the planet's movement, on itself and through spacetime, it feels like a logical assumption. but far be it for me to suggest that natural laws are in any way counterintuitive...i get vex when car commercials suggest their vehicle's motion has the grace of a cheetah's. and i appreciate mechanical beauty in efficiency. but. well, here's my answers:
1. salt or pepper? pepper.

2. oreos or milk? oreos.

3. peanut butter or jelly? jelly.

4. going blind or going deaf? can't. sorry. well, i almost think deaf but i don't want to think too loud about this.

5. out of toilet paper or out of soap? out of tp.

6. shoes or socks? shoes. unless it's winter; then it's socks.

7. saliva or tears? tears.

8. telephone or computer? computer.

9. ac or hot water? hot water.

10. electricity or vaccination? i can still read with cholera, right? and i'ma die anyway. electricity.

even though i saw it before i answered it (cutting and pasting it to here) it was harder than i thought on a couple.
