i know i'm lame but i'm running on fumes.but today i actually have a little time to do some catching up and found some gems.jjand whiteyand rentaempressmade my day. enjoy.walk good.ps: i still love our show. we close next sunday and life returns.
extension
dudes, we just extended our run of equus for a week, it's doing so well. i'm so excited.
in related news, i have failed to fff for the 2nd week in a row, mostly because between equus running and shakespeare rehearsals and auditions and editing my noir and the radio station, i am always either working or trying to snatch some sleep- haven't cleaned the house in weeks...
i'm lame, i know, but the work's going beautifully...
promise i'll be back.
walk good.
long distance, right quick
i didn't have time to post about this in advance (and yes, i know i haven't had time to fff either, but i will) but i have to big up roger roberts of 3canal for running the ing marathon in ny on sunday. he's my hero for all the training, as much as for finishing, and even more for making such good time (inside 3-and-3quarter hours).
caribbeanfreeradio (naturally) has details, plus results and updated results.
i saw roger and his much-deserved medal in n.y. yesterday, and am pleased to report that at least 2 canals are in fine form even though warrenman didn't train+run, and according to report, stanny is his usual self. biglove to the canals and big-up our star athlete.
walk good.
ps: in case you visiting, happy b'day to my alan strang, love, jill.
white and nerdy
if you haven't heard it yet, let me say i think this is weird al's best work to date. here's the original, ridin' dirty if you need it. i think you should hear it if you don't know it to really appreciate the parody.lyrics are tight, he flows good, it's an excellent rip-off. enjoy.walk good.
this is not a real post...
but i just had to say that last night's opening of equus was the best opening night and opening night performance of my adult life. our director's a fucking genius, and although i trusted her because i know she's good, when audience members kept approaching me last night and i heard their feedback i realised how right she was about everything the whole time...i love this production, this company, this cast, this play (read it- peter schaffer's brilliant!) and i'm so privileged to be a part of it.walk good.
