confessions of a dentist's daughter

don't tell my daddy, but this morning, for the 1st time in my whole life of well over a quarter-century, i flossed.
and it was awful, dragging that multi-layered mint-waxed string between my teeth, trying not to bloody my gums (heard enough about flossing to know as much as anybody who's done it). but since nothing was stuck in my teeth after all these years, perhaps flossing isn't that important. for this dirty mouth, anyway...
